Whenever one power rises and leaves others behind, so-called “proxy wars” appear in it or around it. Proxy wars are wars that are fought from a distance, initiated and financed by other countries, in order to slow down, weaken, and destabilize a country that is experiencing rapid development.
Tsarist Russia had one of the greatest economic booms before the Bolshevik Revolution. It is known that the communists in Russia received enormous aid in gold at the time, in a train that came from Western Europe, despite all the border blockades that war entails.
The second rise of Russia and the first (1994-1996) and the second Chechen war (1999)… The current president of Chechnya, Ramzan Kadyrov, speaks clearly and loudly in interviews about who financed both Chechen wars at the time, and his father, Akhmed Kadyrov, was also the president of Chechnya.
The bombing of Serbia in 1999, when a NATO missile “accidentally” hit the Chinese embassy. Today, intelligence services know what everyone had for breakfast, and it turns out that at the time, they did not know that the building was the Chinese embassy in a strictly residential part of Belgrade. Or perhaps they expected a reaction?
Coronavirus…Today, most analysts and authorities from various fields believe that the virus was manufactured. Officially, the virus began to spread from the Chinese city of Wuhan. Did the Chinese make the virus and deliberately let it spread in their city of millions?
The war in Ukraine… I don’t think it’s necessary to explain who is really at war there, for what real reason, and against whom.
Thailand is a very close partner of America, while Cambodia is a close associate of China. The conflict a few weeks ago began because Thai soldiers patrolling near the border came across landmines twice, on their patrol paths. After that, more than a hundred thousand people have been displaced since the fight started (an 800 km-long border). How likely is it that the other side deliberately placed landmines on the patrol line of another country? Why would they do that? And how stupid do you have to be to do something like that and then wait for the other country to start shooting at you… And maybe there was a third party involved?
In the future, probably, with every new bridge, tunnel, highway, or driverless taxi, China increases the chances of new proxy wars in the form of new viruses, riots, and wars within the country and on its borders. Let’s hope that China will not be fooled by such provocations, and that it will neither slow it down nor stop it, and that its invisible enemies, those hyenas, will be left in the dust behind it, without prey, with only their malice and envy.
